P Mint version (Philadelphia Mint) - The Oklahoma State Quarter is the first of the 50 state commemorative quarters to be released by the U.S. Mint in the year 2008 and the 46th design of the entire 50 coin series. The reverse of Oklahoma's quarter features the state bird--a Scissortail Flycatcher, the state flower--Indian Blankets, and the inscriptions "Oklahoma" and the state's Union entrance date--1907.
